Safari extensions: 1, 4 & 6 days
The Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, and the big game of East Africa need no introduction, and we have put together 3 safari extensions that can be added to the beginning or end of any of our trips in East Africa.
Choose from a 4 day extension, taking in Tarengire National Park, Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater, or our 6 day extension which also includes the plains of the Serengeti. Game drives and camping with the sounds of the African night are all a part of these exciting extensions. On the drive back to Arusha we visit Olduvai Gorge, the “Cradle of Mankind” – the site of important excavations by the Leakeys which developed our understanding of early human evolution.
For those with more limited time, but who still want to spend time experiencing the wildlife of East Africa, we offer a 1-day extension to visit Arusha National Park.
